Sofi works at a hat store. A nice but plain girl and beautiful at heart she is cruelly transformed into an old woman by a jealous witch. On Sofi's journey to find a magical being who can transform her back she makes friends with a flame, a broom, the jealous, witch, a little apprentice and the beautiful Howl.
