Amid a travel to a new home in a new town Chihiro and her parents end up at a deserted train station, a gateway to another world of spirits. When the Mother and Father are enticed by the delicious food at the vendors set out for the Spirits they are turned into pigs and Chihiro must find a way to get them all back home, this proves to be very difficult when Yubaba, the witch running the bath-house and the town holds her captive by taking her name and giving her another.
